Traditional Storytelling and Language Immersion Experience

Join us on a cultural journey with our Language Immersion and Storytelling experience.

Language Experience

In this session, immerse yourself in the world of Nakota vocabulary with our interactive Language Immersion experience. Begin with a ceremonial protocol to honor Nakota traditions, setting the stage for this enriching experience.
Our skilled facilitator will guide you through key phrases and expressions essential for navigating a traditional encampment, providing practical language skills for deeper connections with Nakota culture. Receive a helpful handout with pronunciation guides to reinforce your learning, followed by a dynamic Q&A session to explore cultural nuances.

Guests will find a cozy spot inside the tipi or gather around the warm campfire pit as we step into the rich Nakota history and heritage through storytelling. Through engaging narratives, our facilitator will vividly depict the Nakota people's enduring legacy, exploring significant milestones and key moments that have shaped their narrative in Alberta.

Actively participate in the storytelling experience and engage in an enlightening Q&A session to deepen your understanding of Nakota history.
