Our facilitators will begin by conducting traditional protocol, setting the stage for an authentic experience.

You'll receive an instruction sheet detailing the step-by-step process, including the required materials such as ropes, tipi poles, pegs, and pins. Rest assured, our Sun Forger canvas tipi is prepared and ready for your use.

Guided by the facilitator, you'll learn firsthand how to pitch up and take down a tipi. Discover the traditional knowledge and wisdom behind this timeless practice.
Engage in Q&A sessions and adhere to the respectful protocols associated with tipi use. This workshop offers you a unique opportunity to gain practical skills and insights into the rich cultural heritage of tipi living.

Check in for your workshop at the Cultural Centre at Eagle River Tourism RV Park - Highway 43 & Highway 32 near Whitecourt, Alberta.

Please Bring:
• your own lunch and beverages
• bug spray (no other scent products please)
• appropriate outdoor clothing (be prepared as the weather can change)
